Cycling Analyst

Manhattan resident John Eustice was one of the pioneer American racing cyclists to break into the tough world of European pro cycling. He founded and captained the first American team to race in the Tour of Italy, and is a two-time United States Professional Champion.

Eustice's broadcast career has included coverage of 13 Tour de France's for ESPN, ABC SPORTS and ASO (Tour de France promoting organization). Domestically, he has been the television analyst for the US Open Cycling Championships on NBC, the US Professional Championships in Philadelphia, the San Francisco Grand Prix, and the New York City Cycling Championships.

Eustice has recently been featured for his commentary on the Floyd Landis Tour de France positive drugs test on the following media outlets:

In 1998 Eustice founded Sparta Cycling, the promotion company that runs the Univest Grand Prix, an annual international bicycle race that is seen on WFMZ-69, Comcast SportsNet, and OLN. Sparta Cycling has also promoted the Tour of Connecticut, and several national championships for USA Cycling.
